Line and Shape Black and White
This photo is of the bricks on my chimney located on the side on my house. When this photo was taken is was up close. The photo was taken from an angle from above facing down. The photograph is at a horizontal view. When the photo was taken the rule of thirds was used, making the clearer of the bricks on the far right to see the texture of the bricks more. This photograph has a dynamic composition, leading the viewers eyes continuously to the left following the brick pattern. Texture and Pattern black and WhiteThis photo of a rope with pollen on it is located on a wooden post located in the parking lot at the Dighton-Berkley Bridge. This photo was taken vertically an up close, then cropping the image and zooming in more. When the photo as taken the rule of thirds were being used as well as using an angle to be able to capture the texture of the pollen as well as seeing the texture of the rope, Texture and being is being presented by showing the braid pattern of the rope with the texture of the pollen on it. This image is a properly exposed because it has a balance of lighter and darker shades of grey, having exposure of the pollen with the light in the background exposing it and showing the pattern and texture of the rope.

In this photo someone was swinging a string of lights in an infinity symbol shape. A green strobe light was shining on her face while swinging the white lights. Editing it and changing the saturation, and hue of the photo is created the green and blue effects. The shutter speed that was used was 4 seconds. The effect the photo gives off is a faded image of a face behind the lines of the infinity sign. The the viewer looking at the photo should feel like someone is watching the light being drawn. There was a large depth of field capturing the different lines and colors.

The f-stop used to take this image was f-2 to create the large depth of field. The iso was set at 400 and the white balance was set at sunny.
The f-stop that was used to create the shallow depth of field was f-11. The camera was set at an iso of 800 and the white balance was florescent. The camera was set on the "A" setting which was for aperture, also it was set on manual focus to be able to put one subject in focus and blur out the other. |
I selected a portrait of the subject that looked outward, and i chose a sunset. The subjects relate because the subject looks outward to the sunset. The portrait was layered over the sunset to create the effect of her over looking the sunset. Also the tree next to the sun was lined up with her hand to create a henna-effect. I layered the portrait over the landscape photo, then adjusting the opacity of the portrait to be able to create the image. The images relate because the sunset is peaceful and the subject looks like she is peacefully over looking something.
The meaning of my double exposure is over looking the stressful things and seeing the light, which is peace and relaxation. |
