This photo is of the bricks on my chimney located on the side on my house. When this photo was taken is was up close. The photo was taken from an angle from above facing down. The photograph is at a horizontal view. When the photo was taken the rule of thirds was used, making the clearer of the bricks on the far right to see the texture of the bricks more. This photo was also taken using a large depth of field with an aperture of f/2. This photograph has a dynamic composition, leading the viewer's eyes continuously to the left following the brick pattern. The white balance was set at sunny, and has an iso of 12000. This photo of a rope with pollen on it is located on a wooden post located in the parking lot at the Dighton-Berkley Bridge. This photo was taken vertically, when the photo as taken the rule of thirds were being used as well as using an angle to be able to capture the texture of the pollen as well as seeing the texture of the rope, Texture and being is being presented by showing the braid pattern of the rope with the texture of the pollen on it. This image is a properly exposed because it has a balance of lighter and darker shades of grey, having exposure of the pollen with the light in the background exposing it and showing the pattern and texture of the rope. The white balance when this photo was taken was on sunlight. The depth of field is a shallow depth of field. This photo creates a dramatic effect because it has many patterns because of the rope and he different textures of the pollen. In this photo someone was swinging a string of lights in an infinity symbol shape. A green strobe light was shining on her face while swinging the white lights. Editing it and changing the saturation, and hue of the photo is created the green and gold effects. The shutter speed that was used was 4 seconds. The effect the photo gives off is a faded image of a face behind the lines of the infinity sign. The the viewer looking at the photo should feel like someone is watching the light being drawn. There was a large depth of field capturing the different lines and colors. In this photo it it shows a good contrast between blacks and whites. The ISO was set on 800, and had a white balance of fluorescent. The subject is in the middle of the photo to create a direct focus. The light was set on the right side, illuminating the right side of her and her face. Then creating a dark effect on the left side of her face it made it so you can hardly make out her facial features and it creates a more dramatic effect. The background is simple and dark, but light enough so the subject is emphasized. This photo is a landscape of a chairlift. The ISO was at 6400, and the white balance was at sunny. The shutter speed was at 1/125s, and an aperture of f/2. In this photo the sun highlights the lines and shapes on the ground also creating a textural effect made by the snowboards and skis. The sun also creates shadows because of it peeking through the trees. The sun also highlights the chairlift that was moving. WHile this photo was being taken the rule of thirds were being used, the chair lift was in the left side, off center being the main subject while the sun is in the top-middle which leads to all the exposure of the lines and shapes. This photo has an interesting point of view because of the was the rule of thirds play into effect. This photo was taken as a landscape. It has an iso of 6400 and the white balance was set at sunny. This photo is interesting because the sunset is many different colors, but as you look at the ground, the lines and shapes were illuminating, but had had different colors as the sunset, giving off its own reflection. The rule of thirds were in effect having the sunset and tree line in the center of the photo. While taking this photo I was on the top of a mountain having a direct point of view to the sunset. I needed a large depth of field to capture all the patterns and texture on the ground as well as the tree line and sunset. |
